Heritage Space proudly presents ‘UNITED HEXAGON’, a sense-developing program for professional and amater actors at different levels but all with a love for theatrical art. The workshop is led by director-educator Tony Le Nguyen.
WORKSHOP DESCRIPTION
The ‘hexagon’ is the most important aspects for an actor, professional or not, when standing on the stage. They need to feel and use their six senses like six doors leading to the character to express their most genuine emotions, and it is the actor who brings the truth of the ‘hexagon’ into the character on stage.
Through 06 workshops, participants can learn different techniques from director Tony Le-Nguyen, which are the result of more than 30 years of teaching and practicing art in and out of the country, helping people to master the art of:
– Dealing with conflict
– Dealing with situations
– Communication
– Expressing emotions
– Receiving human emotions
– Balancing energy effectively

➲ About Tony Lê Nguyễn:
Tony Lê-Nguyễn was born in the Mekong Delta, Vietnam in 1968 with the name Le Thien Toan. He adopted the name Tony Lee when he started acting in 1968 and finally changed to Tony Le-Nguyen since becoming a director in 1995. Over the past 20 years, he worked in different positions in the arts, from actor, playwright, director to producer. He is currently the executive producer for Lê-Nguyễn Productions in Melbourne, Australia. He is now teaching Drama at Caroline Chisholm College in Melbourne, Australia and travels on a regular basis to teach acting in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang and Can Tho.

HS-WORKSHOP is a regular series of activities hosted by Heritage Space focusing on opening a platform for creativity development as well as the ability to express of each individual, on multi-disciplinary connections and cooperation. With artists and experts from different fields as mentors and a program designed for both professionals and non-professionals in the creative fields, the series aim to build a richer community in terms of emotions and diverse, non-traditional experiences.
