Exhibition: 08 – 16 Jul 2019

From the organizers:

If you are used to enjoy individual paintings, this exhibition will introduce you to a brand new way to appreciate art. Eleven young artists with their own artistic styles, ideas, and expressive languages work together to create an art series to make it a greater work. A sequential art exhibition.

The artists will guide us through a peculiar story in images. Each young artist will tell a part of the story which is divided into segments. Starting from:

Trần Hoàng – abstractionism on lacquer
Thanh Thanh – oil painting, expressionism & magical realism
Đặng Hà Vân – oil painting
Đào Xuân Đại – expressionism in surrealist space
Đào Đức Lộc – oil painting
Đào Đình Tân – sculpture
Đỗ Trọng Quý – oil painting, neo-expressionism, symbolism
Đoàn Văn Tới – oil painting
Trinh Art – watercolor on silk, liberalism
Lê Anh – acrylic
And last but not least: Nguyễn Tuấn Dũng – mixed media

These young artists were born between 1989 and 2000 – the time when Vietnam started to open its economy to the world and life was no longer as difficult as before in terms of materials. Especially when they were growing up, world culture had been introduced into Vietnam through various forms. How they embraced that culture, their concerns and worries, their perspectives on life will be told in this story.
