From VCCA:

On 20 Dec 2019, “The Foliage 3” will return to the audience with a brand new look at Vincom Center for Contemporary Art (VCCA). The exhibition follows the original idea of “Foliage” – a gathering of large-scale quality contemporary works held annually by VCCA with the mission of supporting, connecting and spreading art to the grand public.

The 3rd “The Foliage” brings together young and talented Vietnamese and international artists: Quỳnh Lâm, Phan Anh, Nguyễn Văn Đủ, Nguyễn Đình Phương, Nguyễn Văn Duy, Lương Trịnh and Tristan Jalleh (Australia), the duo Caleb Stein & Andrea Orejarena (Anh, Colombia). The exhibition was co-curated by Mizuki Endo – Art Director of VCCA and independent curator/researcher Đỗ Tường Linh.

Continuing to support diverse creative activities, “Foliage 3” introduces the public to more than 50 artworks of various art languages: painting, photography, sculpture, video, installation and concept, a daring experiment in medium and expressions of promising artists.

As VCCA’s biggest conceptual exhibition in 2019, “Foliage 3” promises to bring about interesting and meaningful conversations, where inspirations blend and radiate. In particular, with a non-linear space design, the artworks are placed in its own area. Foliage 3 will hopefully be an exciting and engaging art journey, where viewers can discover and appreciate each art work in their own way.

The exhibition will take place from 20 Dec 2019 to 23 Feb 2020 at VCCA (B1-R3 floor, Vincom Mega Mall Royal City, 72A Nguyen Trai str., Thanh Xuan dist., Hanoi). During the exhibition, VCCA will hold 3 artist talks on 21 Dec, 4 Jan and 15 Feb. Detailed information will be updated on VCCA’s official website and Facebook page.
