From the organizer:
Come to 2 live shows at ATK this week. On Wed 07 Nov, Simon Blu Wasem, an experimental sound artist and performer, will represent PORT ACTIF – an international art organisation and collective of both video artists and performers. The evening will feature a powerful selection of experimental videoworks, all with a focus on the sound aspect and all heavily experimental.
On Thu 08 Nov, new band Now that the Ground Has Stopped Trembling will perform live.
Dan Henneberry and David Payne are familiar to most on the Hanoi music scene having played guitar in a myriad of popular bands around the capital. Now they’ve joined forces to create a free-form behemoth of improvisational pedal-based guitar explorations. Their recent appearances at ATK’s Experimental Music Nights won more than a few fans for managing to marry improvisation with a sense of melody and form. Joining them for the first time will be southern pop sensation Mai Khoi. Her voice and showmanship has made her ridiculously popular in her native Saigon where she sang the hits for big audiences.
Ticket
Entry VND 50,000 for both 2 events (All entrance money is for the artists)
