This group critique is an opportunity for Vietnam-based photographers to present their work to fellow practitioners and industry experts, namely Jessica Lim and Linh Pham – Southeast Asia and Oceania jury chair and judge for the World Press Photo contest 2022 respectively, and Martha Echevarria – Exhibition manager at the World Press Photo Foundation. Works of all genres are welcome.
This session is open for 6 people to present their portfolios (chosen via an open call), and 12 to sit in (first come first serve). Each will take turns presenting their work for 10 minutes, followed by a 15-minute group discussion. They need to prepare 20 – 30 images from one or multiple projects, preferably in 9 x 12 prints.
This event takes place as part of the World Press Photo 2022 exhibition in Hanoi, kindly supported by the Embassy of the Netherlands in Vietnam.
