Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection and Practice in Vietnam (SIPE)
About project: Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection and Practice in Vietnam (SIPE) is a project implemented by the Vietnam National Institute of Culture and Arts Studies (VICAS) in collaboration with the Copyright Office of Vietnam (Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, with support from the UNESCO International Fund for Cultural Diversity (IFCD), within the framework of the 2005 UNESCO Convention on Diversity of Cultural Expressions.
The project Strengthening Intellectual Property Protection and Practice in Vietnam conducted a series of actions aiming to improve Intellectual Property (IP) protection and practice in Vietnam, performing the missions stated in the National Strategy for the Development of Vietnamese cultural industries to 2020 with a vision to 2030, contributing to the sustainable development of the cultural and creative industries of the country.
The project targets a wide variety of beneficiaries, including creative practitioners, creative cultural hubs, and state management agencies in all three regions of Vietnam: the North, the Central, and the South.

HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST is an annual event that honors contemporary art projects in Vietnam. The event is organized and nominated by Hanoi Grapevine and the general audience.
The event aims to honor individuals, organizations, creative art projects & activities as well as artists who are 35 or younger who have made impacts on the community in order to encourage the development of local creative arts, to promote greater communication and to further spread the influence of art and culture in the community.
In an effort to give the most comprehensive and objective view, HANOI GRAPEVINE’s FINEST always offers different formats in each edition. This year, Hanoi Grapevine’s Finest 2023 is divided into two major categories: Honouring and Recognition.
