Let’s wander around the old quarter of Hanoi, explore the corners with NoirfotoWalk in May. This street photo shoot has the theme of black and white craft film photography. Please register to participate, because maybe you will create photographic works of art for a lifetime right on this trip!
Why the workshop is about black and white?
Black and white film requires a careful observation and slows down when shooting. It forces the photographer to discover into the story of composition, lines, tonality, etc. In general, black and white film helps the photographers enjoy the process wholly.
Like the previous workshop, NoirfotoWalk has the participation of Pham Tuan Ngoc – Founder of Noirfoto. He happily shares his experience in black and white film photography with the art-lover community.
This time, NoirfotoWalk has 2 special points:
– One is that the street photographer Chu Viet Ha will accompany you to practice on the streets and give advice about taking street photos, how to handle various situations, as well as how to approach the subjects.
– Secondly, NoirfotoWalk wishes to bring black and white film photography back with high expertise and greater artistry. This is also a chance to inspire the community of black and white film photography focusing on traditional hand-print in the darkroom.
NoirfotoWalk in May will visit historical and cultural places, as well as this is an opportunity for everyone to visit exhibitions within the framework of the international photography Biennale – Photo Hanoi ’23.
