From the organizer:

We kindly invite you to “The Form of Information” by Fosco Lucarelli.

In 2006, Fosco Lucarelli and Mariabruna Fabrizi created SOCKS-studio as a “place” to archive and share inspirations and references to their students in architecture school. The format evolved through many years, SOCKS-studio has become a platform for speculation and discussion and a complementary counterpart for their main architectural practice MICROCITIES. In many ways, both Fosco Lucarelli and Mariabruna Fabrizi are not just architects but also designers, curators, writers, and editors. Their online “atlas,” Socks-studio, straddles between reinforcing and quétioning boundaries between these disciplines. They keep expanding, or we might say re-establishing, the position of architect anew.

The lecture is hosted by two architects Võ Duy Kim and Nguyễn Triết.
Graphic designer: Đông Trúc, Linh Thái
Coordinator: Hằng Hằng

This event is organized by Phu Lang Sa Collabtive together with The Cricket Project as a part of PLS-Talk.

Phú Lang sa Collabtive

Phu Lang Sa is a community of young Vietnamese artists, architects, curators, and cultural practitioners living abroad, primarily in France. It was founded by artist Hằng Hằng in 2018.

‘Phu Lang Sa’ is a former Vietnamese name for France (富郎沙), reflecting the group’s place of origin. Since 2019, Phu Lang Sa has launched an initiative titled ‘Phu Lang Sa Collabtive’ to connect and support fellow Vietnamese artists based in Europe. Their aim is to foster interdisciplinary knowledge exchange among Vietnamese cultural practitioners, while expanding this engagement to other communities and professionals across diverse fields, transcending geographical boundaries. In 2023, Phu Lang Sa organized their first exhibition, ‘Neither Fish Nor Fowl,’ at Gallery BAQ in Paris.

The Cricket Project
