Heritage Art Space, in collaboration with the Art & Society Hubs Network – Asia and Artlink, invites aspiring arts administrators to join our free online workshop titled “Digital Skills for Arts Administration.”

This workshop aims to equip beginners with essential digital tools to work more effectively and efficiently in the field of arts administration. We also hope to connect with newcomers, exchange experiences, and support them in developing their own initiatives.

We welcome participants who are:
– High school students (Grade 11 and above) who are curious about the digital skills needed in arts administration
– University students studying cultural or arts management
– Emerging practitioners who are starting to organize cultural or artistic events

By joining the workshop, you will gain:
– Free access to a complete online course
– Hands-on guidance on basic digital tools for arts administration:
+ An opportunity to refine and standardize grant or fundraising proposals for individuals and small organizations.
+ Understand the full process of planning and managing programs or events, including coordination, operations, communications, and financial management.
+ Hands-on guidance in using essential and effective digital tools to support the above tasks and ensure long-term documentation and storage.
– Opportunities to practice and interact directly with the Heritage Art Space team.
– A chance to connect with a like-minded community and explore future career pathways in the arts

Schedule: Each course includes 3 sessions, 90 minutes per session. Both courses offer the same content and differ only in timing.
– Class A: 8:00–9:30 PM (GMT+7), July 18–20, 2025
– Class B: 8:00–9:30 PM (GMT+7), July 25–27, 2025

Format: Online via Zoom

Workshop content: Digital Skills for Arts Administration — with learning materials developed by members of the Asia Art and Social Network. Language and materials used in the workshop: Vietnamese.
– Session 1: Foundational Digital Tools for the Arts
– Session 2: Digital Event Planning & Promotion
– Session 3: Digital Documentation and Event Reporting

Training team: Heritage Art Space team

To apply, please prepare:
– A CV or portfolio introducing yourself and any relevant projects (if applicable)
– Complete the registration form by 11:59 pm on July 11, 2025
– The results will be announced by 08 pm on July 15, 2025.

Notes:
– No certificate will be issued for this workshop
– A 500,000 VND refundable deposit is required to confirm your full participation. The amount will be returned after completing all three sessions.
– The workshop will be documented in the form of images and audio recordings, serving the purposes of storage, research, survey, and promotion… of the author and Heritage Art Space. By participating, the audience agrees to allow Heritage Art Space (and the author) the right to use your images and opinions as material for the program.

Digital Skills for Arts Administration is a program jointly implemented by Heritage Art Space, partners of Art & Society Hubs Network – Asia and its regional partner, Mekong Cultural Hub (MCH).
This program is designed to deliver high-quality training to young artists and professionals within Vietnamese art and culture sectors. The training aims to significantly impact the lives of these individuals by empowering them to overcome challenges, further develop their artistic practices, and make substantial contributions to Vietnam’s cultural landscape.

The training materials for this course were designed and developed by Kaivalya Plays, and Heritage Art Space, the local training provider, will deliver the course content. The program is supported by Artlink on behalf of South Culture Fund.
