Modern Totem is an artist residency program designed to explore the symbolic language of contemporary life, where cultural layers, personal memories, and lived experiences intersect and transform. The talkshow Meet the Residency Artists takes place as part of the Ồ Ạt Festival 2025, marking a moment of transition from research to artistic production. This conversation invites the audience into the in-progress world of each artist from initial ideas, emerging experiments, to the questions that are shaping their works.
Aimed at artists, researchers, students, cultural workers, and anyone interested in contemporary art and cultural inquiry, this gathering offers a space for thoughtful engagement — where process matters as much as outcome, and where spectators become co-observers in the making of meaning.
