From the organizer:

Multi-Faceted Performance is a convergence of three artists and three expressive languages: performance poetry, physical movement, and experimental dance film.

Nam Thi approaches poetry as a quiet unveiling of the inner self—where words are deconstructed, clashed, transformed, or recontextualized to break out of fixed meanings and allow language to move freely. Thịnh Tiêu, an independent performer and choreographer, brings a constantly evolving language of the body and movement. Russell Morton & Max Lee construct an emotionally rich cinematic world through evocative, layered movement and surprising transitions. Together, these three pieces, a performed poem, the contemporary dance solo 33, and the short film Fish, are woven into a sensory space of sound, vision, and feeling. This flow forms a narrative about youth and the times we live in.

Artworks:
1/ Performance: “33” | Thịnh Tiêu
2/ Poetry Performance | Nam Thi
3/ Fish | Dance Film | Russell Morton & Max Lee

* Duration: approx. 2 hours, including a poetry performance, the solo dance piece “33”, and the dance film “Fish”

Thịnh Tiêu – Performance Artist
Rooted in Hip-hop and Breaking since 2008, Thịnh Tiêu began exploring contemporary dance in 2015 through his work with Lune Production’s Tehdar. He later joined Arabesque Dance Company and performed in major contemporary productions such as The Mist (at both the HCMC Opera House and KAAT Theater, Yokohama, Japan) and Rơm at the HCMC International Dance Festival.

Nam Thi – Poet
Born in Hanoi’s Old Quarter, Nam Thi holds a degree in Philosophy from the Academy of Journalism and Communication. He is currently the Managing Editor of Art Republik Vietnam and Editorial Director of Heritage Fashionby Vietnam Airlines. His poetry practice is a quiet yet radical gesture—allowing text to collide, distort, or rediscover meaning within itself.

Russell Morton & Max Lee – Dance Film
“Fish” is a collaboration between Hong Kong dance artist Max Lee and Singaporean filmmaker Russell Morton. The film explores mortality through ten looping scenarios where fish serve as symbolic anchors. It was created as part of Hybrid Motion, a joint program by Cinemovement (Singapore), City Contemporary Dance Company (Hong Kong), and West Kowloon Cultural District (Hong Kong), connecting dance artists and filmmakers from both cities.
