Come to a music night with TENGGER – an electronic psychedelic / drone musical duo and travelers.

Members:

‘itta’, Korean new wave avant-garde artist who plays voice, Indian harmonium and toy instruments with her poetry and,
‘Marqido’, Japanese noise creator, music producer who plays analogue synthesizers currently.

TENGGER formed under the name of ‘10’ in 2005 Korea and has been touring extensively in Asia (Korea, Japan, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines), Europe (UK, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Belgium, France, Germany, Austria, Iceland, Czech Republic, Sweden), USA (east coast). THE WIRE, TimeOut, WFMU, Resonance FM, to name a few, introduced their music to Europian and American experimental music fans.

The band is based in Seoul, South Korea. They have toured abroad extensively and this has definitely changed the way they think. The beauty of each new space they have visited has been deeply affecting. It has lead them to consider the environment more carefully. They got married with each other, and their baby RAAI was born in 2012.


Finally they changed the name to TENGGER( In Mongolian it means big, infinite sky, while in Hungarian it means big ocean) in 2013. The name is expansion of 10, and came out from their life.
