Exhibition “Northern citizens and farmers in the beginning of 20th century”

In the occasion of republishing Henri Oger’s “Technique du peuple Annamite” (Technique of the Annamese people), the Museum of Ethnology in cooperation with l’École française d’Extrême-Orient is organizing the exhibition “Northern citizens and farmers in the beginning of 20th century: Events and actions”.

The exhibition introduces Vietnamese people’s life 100 years ago through pictures shown on the book in order to let the public understand about how life was going in Hanoi and the around area. You will have the chance to see a lot of occupations, daily routine and behaviour of “accient” Hanoian 100 years ago.
