Bao Loc Project
a little blah blah is pleased to announce the launch of the website for The Bao Loc Project.
This project took place in the coffee-producing highland town of Bao Loc, 180km from Ho Chi Minh City. The project was hosted by ACOM – a coffee company – and the closing event took place in the grounds of their warehouse in Bao Loc.
During a 4-week period, overseas and Vietnam-based artists worked closely with selected communities, led lively workshops and community-days or worked directly in public space. Participants in the various projects and workshops included ACOM staff, day labourers, townsfolk, ethnic minorities, coffee growers, artisans, café goers and 300 school children. A 64-page color catalogue was also published by albb.
Many thanks to ACOM (host and main sponsor), Pro Helvetia & Embassy of Finland Hanoi (supporters) and FUJIFILM, pure digital technologies & Long Hai Security (sponsors). We hope that you enjoying browsing this website!
