“Still Life” by Chinese film artist Jia Zhang-Ke (2006). This film won the Golden Lion in Venice in 2006. Running time 108 min.
First screening of a regular biweekly screening of independent, experimental and art films and videos.

We had a long delay, first due to the heavy rains, and then for relocation to a venue more suitable for screenings. Now hopefully screenings at TPD Center will be permanent.

HI-DeFF and TPD Center (Center for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents) will host a biweekly screening of independent, experimental and art films and videos. The screenings will be regular on the second and fourth Fridays of the month, 6:30pm.
Please come at 6 to meet each other and to get to know HI-DeFF.

HI-DeFF is a group for people in or around Hanoi involved in and/or making documentary or experimental films who want to:

-share filmmaking experiences
-share knowledge
-share resources
-and share films

It is meant to be a mutually supportive group both on-line and F2F and is not in any way limited to people on Facebook. We welcome people from outside Hanoi who have an interest in the group. We hope HI-DeFF becomes a resource for independent filmmakers so we can all learn from each other to make better films.
