Tempography and Hanoi Grapevine are calling for submissions for an exhibition of Tempography videos.
What is Tempography?
- minimalist, video-based, conceptual art project
- ‘time’ and ‘movement’ are its primary elements
- explores what is between photography and cinema/film
- can be described as brief visual impressions from everyday surroundings, creating an atmosphere, an image of thoughts, rather than telling a story
- was developed in 2003 by Swiss artist Anthony Bannwart/Hontoban and Swedish fim-maker, Magnus Aronson
Who can submit work?
- Anyone.
