ASEM Film Festival – Danish contribution

The Embassy of Denmark in Hanoi has the pleasure of inviting you to the ASEM Film Festival that will take place in Hanoi from May 15th to May 22nd.

Denmark presents the movie WHITE NIGHT.

Note: There are 2 film festivals on in Hanoi at roughly the same time: the European Film Festival and the ASEM Film Festival.

The film explores Ulrich’s guilt following the fatal act, and the problems this creates with his girlfriend and his father, who turns his back on him. Both his job and his girlfriend are gone in seconds, and his material wealth is fast disappearing as well. When Ulrich believes he has nothing left to lose, it might be time for a renewed attempt to reconcile himself with his father, with help coming from an unexpected source.
