The Other Side

Everything has two sides, and with this exhibition we have selected young artists’ works which endeavour to reflect on the other side of the truth. The improbable combination of their works at times seems fun. Yet, at the core, these young artists invite us to reflect on the ambiguous nature of our society; a society, which they feel, is governed by appearance.

Therefore, every single artwork in this exhibition, be it one of the captivating oil paintings, or the 11-minute video art Blue Eye – Red Light by Ylva Landoff Lindberg, hint at the internal conflicts which arise when outward poses reflect only a partial truth.

Ultimately thus, the participants in this exhibition raise questions about their own life and about the society which surrounds them.
