Friends of Vietnam Heritage are screening two films by locally based ensemble films. The theme is disability and inclusion in the arts.
Still Life Moving (2009, 46 minutes) follows Huong as she participates in the acclaimed photovoice project, ‘Face To Face’, in Thanh Hoa. Funded by DED.
Together Higher (2005, 45 minutes) follows Vietnam’s first deaf contemporary dance company Togetherhigher as they do a five city dance tour in Vietnam. Funded by British Embassy Hanoi.
The director of both films, Paul Zetter will be at the event for a Q&A session. Both films have English subtitles.
