A conference with one of the best known Italian writers in the world – Dacia Maraini, special guest of the 9th Week of Italian Language in the World.
Novelist and storyteller able to thrill a large audience, Maraini dedicated herself to poetry and drama. Her books won the most important literary awards, including the Campiello Prize for “The silent duchess” (“La lunga vita di Marianna Ucria”) also translated into Vietnamese. Being particularly concerned by social issue, Dacia Maraini is committed to improving women’s lives.
The conference, cooperated with Embassy of Switzerland in Hanoi, will be in Italian with simultaneous interpreting in Vietnamese and English.
