“To me, the Long Bien Bridge used to be extraordinarily large and beautiful. However, after having lived in Hanoi, witnessed and interacted with the busy life and traffic here, I realized that the bridge is in fact so fragile, being more than a hundred years old. However, no matter what time has done to it, it’s still stand here today, having witnessed the ups and downs of Hanoi”, says Tu.

The 9 paintings in this exhibition is the result of a period of intense and careful observation and research on the Long Bien Bridge.
