FVH would like to invite you to the screening of ‘A Dream in Hanoi’, a 16-minute short film directed by Gerry Herman. A lonely boy’s life is changed forever when he meets a ballet dancer on the streets of Hanoi. This is the true story of how Cao Chi Thanh (star of Vietnam Opera- Ballet National) was inspired to start studying ballet at the age of 11.
We will also be showing clips from recent Vietnam Opera – Ballet National (VNOB) performances. The director, Gerry, will be in attendance to answer any questions as well as the director of the VNOB, several VNOB dancers, and the vice-director of the National Ballet School.
