Life Art: Call for Submissions

“Self development through creativity process”.

This training for trainers course is the foundation for the establishment of Life Art House, a center specialised in the use of creative process in social development. The project is sponsored by “Social Entrepreneurship Support” projects hosted by British Council and Center for social initiatives promotions (CSIP).

This training coursed is organised by Life Art from December 2009 to June 2010, focusing on the theory and practices of using creative process in development for beneficiaries of all backgrounds. The curriculum is designed and carried out by Phan Y Ly (MA. Theatre and Media for Development) together with other guest lecturers.

Excellent graduates will have opportunity to long term career with Life Art House.

Syllabus


Theory

Education and Critical thinking.
Social development theory.
Arts and personal development.

Skills

Facilitation and training skills.
Aesthetical and creative skills.

Practices

Project design.
Project implementation.

Admission

The course admits maximum 13 trainees, within these there are 10 full scholarships for those who passes 2 selection rounds. If you don’t win a scholarship and still wants to participate, you need to pay a lump sum fee of 15 million VND. The training will be in Vietnamese.

Conditions for scholarship

Ages from 22-35.
Interested in education and personality development.
Interested in creative and critical education.
Have a plan to apply knowledge in daily work.
Have at least 1 year of experience in teaching or social works.
Creative, open minded, knowledgeable in many fields.
Have a love for arts.
Committed to fully participate in the training program in 6 months (6 hours per week).
