Green Generation Network

07 Dec 2009 – Launch date for Green Generation Network’s official website.

With its underlying message being “Be Aware and Act”, young green ambassadors from the Green Generation Network have developed this website to dedicate to environmental volunteer clubs and organizations, as well as individuals all over Vietnam. These individuals, groups, organizations and other like-minded people identify themselves as the “green generation of Vietnam”, whose aims are to change the public’s environmental awareness and encourage them to take actions toward sustainable development.

The site differs from other Vietnamese environmental websites as it focuses on climate change education and green actions. It is a place where young Vietnamese can share their views about environmental issues and exchange simple and practical tips to help others live in a greener and more responsible manner. Recently there have been quite a few environmental action volunteer groups. However, each group often works separately. Through Green Generation Network, people can now come together, voice their environmental concerns and discuss practical solutions for Vietnam. With ideas and resources are combined, we will become stronger and more confident in translating our ideas into real actions.
