Attention Artists
WASTE – Recycled materials and Environmental issues: Call for Submissions
Submission Deadline: 15 Mar
For the last two decades, artists have been taking up environmental issues such as climate change, waste production and planetary preservation as their subject matters; and have been using recycled materials and waste as their medium. However, it’s fair to say that even the most effective and awareness-raising artworks can eventually be forgotten and become WASTE themselves. The question is: How can work of this type become more sustainable and in-depth, and reach a larger number of audience?
To answer the above questions, you can take part in an outdoor exhibition dedicated to raising awareness of environmental issues, especially WASTE. This exhibition, as part of the 2010 Hue Festival, will take place on the “World Environment Day” (05 June).
