The 5th meeting of film community

A movie is a works of a whole crew, in which the corporation between the Director and Cinematographer is crucial to success. The fifth meeting of Film Community with our two special guests: Director Pham Nhue Giang (The deserted Valley) and Cinematographer Ly Thai Dung (Adrift, The Neighbor, The Dance of Death) will provide you more knowledge and an insight about this corporation.

A talk with our experienced filmmakers will let you, who are now a filmmaker or interested in film-making, know more about this special relation, its challenges as well as solutions.

In the meeting, there will be advices on members’ filmmaking project given by our guests and all community members.

Film community is so glad to provide better and better opportunities for young filmmakers to introduce their own projects and find filmmaking partners.

Agenda:

• Part 1: Screening of  Only $1(director Nguyen Manh Ha). Discussion with special guests: Director Pham Nhue Giang and Cinematographer Ly Thai Dung on Relation between Director and Cinematographer.
• Part 2: Presentation of 2 filmmakers about their projects, comments of special guests and community members.

The program is non-profit and free of charge.

The Centre for Assistance and Development of Movie Talents was established with the purposes of designing and implementing programs to assist and develop movie talents and other activities for the development of Vietnamese cinema.
