French singer Bruno Mouron and pianist Terry Truck will be performing songs from the 1960s and ’70s by Edith Piaf, Serge Gainsbourg and Jacques Brel such as La Vie En Rose, Boum, and Hymne A L’Amour. Mouron was born into a musical family. Her father was an opera singer and her mother was a song writer. Mouron began performing chansons at the age of 12. When she was just 17 she performed at France’s most famous music hall, L’Olympia, with Michel Fugain & Le Big Bazar.
Her first solo performance Made in Moon took place at Le Piano Zinc in Paris. It later transferred to the Festival d’Avignon and was performed at major theatres throughout the country. A successful tour through Belgium, Switzerland, Egypt, Poland and Germany followed. She has made seven albums including the latest Peut-Etre Demain, a tribute to musician Jacques Brel.
