19 – 21 Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi

Students Involved in Free Enterprise (SIFE) of National Economics University – Ha Noi cordially invites you to the Exhibition to help Save the La Khe Traditional Silk Village at the American Club.

In the 17th Century, the La Khe Silk Village produced handmade silk clothes for the Royalty of Vietnam. Today, the women-owned cooperative of La Khe carries on this tradition of fine quality silk making. But the silk makers of La Khe have had difficulty in competing against low cost product in the era of globalization, and the cooperative is now at risk of closing.

The students of the SIFE Business Club of National Economics University are helping the women of La Khe Silk Village to develop new markets for their silk. The SIFE Club and the Women of La Khe invite you to an exhibition featuring La Khe Silk at the American Club.

This event is free and open to the public. A modest donation is suggested to benefit the La Khe Village: 100,000 VND for foreigners, 50,000 VND for Vietnamese, 20,000 VND for students.
