Forty-nine oil paintings by artist Le Quan are now being displayed at the Trang Tien Exhibition House. On the theme of ‘Melody of Colours’, works on display feature the love for life, people and nature through a variety of subjects, including flowers, landscapes and the sea.

Despite not being trained at a regular art school, Le Quan’s paintings make a deep impression on viewers with their lively and vibrant colours, harmonious compositions and figurative style. Each painting at the exhibition can be seen as a unique symphony of colour.

Quan’s portraits of writers and poets such as Nguyen Quang Sang, Bao Ninh, Phan Hoa and Huu Loan are also being shown at the exhibition to provide viewers with a close-up look at these well-known people.

This is the first solo exhibition by painter Le Quan in Vietnam after two exhibitions in Singapore and two others in France.
