”A Glimpse Into Southeast Asia” exhibition

The exhibition will give guests a preview of the upcoming Southeast Asian Museum where exhibits will explore many different cultures and ethnic peoples of Southeast Asia.

A Glimpse into Southeast Asia celebrates the occasion of the Museum’s 15-year anniversary and 1,000 years of Thang Long – Hanoi. It is a glimpse into the diverse and rich common culture of Southeast Asia. It outlines the upcoming exhibitions in the The “Kite” building of Southeast Asian cultures and will close after the new museum opens.

The new Museum aims to help the public understand the links between Vietnamese ethnic groups and those of the greater Southeast Asian region who together create and sustain both a unity and a diversity culture. It also shows the responsibility of Vietnam, a ASEAN member, in disseminating and preserving regional identity. This idea has been in the works for many years.
