84 artists from ASEAN member countries will give musical performances in Da Nang and Hanoi during the 2010 ASEAN Summit.

60 artists from ten ASEAN member countries, all from the ASEAN Symphony Orchestra, were carefully selected by Japanese conductor Yoshikazu Fukumura.

The event, held on the occasion of the ASEAN presidency by Vietnam in 2010 and the 17th ASEAN Summit, will initiate a performance tour throughout ASEAN countries by the ASEAN Symphony Orchestra in the upcoming time.

This special tour will help strengthen the friendship and cooperation among countries in the ASEAN bloc. It will also be a good opportunity to showcase creativity by ASEAN’s artists to the Southeast Asian community.
The concert marks the start of a tour around the ASEAN nations with the first performance scheduled for Brunei in 2011.
