American center will organize 2 film screenings in November: “Home for the Holidays” (1995) and “Pieces of April″ (2003).
Film show: Home for the Holidays (1995)
Time: Fri 12 Nov 2010, 2 – 4 pm
Plot: After losing her job, making out with her soon to be ex-boss, and finding out that her daughter plans to spend Thanksgiving with her boyfriend, Claudia Larson has to face spending the holiday with her family. She wonders if she can survive their crazy antics.
Film show: Pieces of April (2003)
Time: Fri 26 Nov 2010, 2 – 4 pm
Plot: A wayward daughter invites her dying mother and the rest of her estranged family to her apartment for Thanksgiving dinner.
