British Council Launches a Photographic Competition

“How Green is Your City” Photography Competition: calls for submission

From British Council:
With the purpose of raising environmental awareness, the British Council Vietnam sponsored by Exotissimo Travel is organising a “How Green is your City” photographic competition in Hanoi and HCMC.
Prizes:
3 trips ranging from 3 days to 1 day in Northern Vietnam for 2 people
3 trips ranging from 3 days to 1 day in Southern Vietnam for 2 people
A free English course at the British Council Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City
A free IELTS exam at the British Council Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City
First 100 entrants to submit their photos will receive a Climate Cool Bag from the British Council
How to submit:
Entrants will take a photo of something in their city and write a 20 word caption in English about its relationship to the environment. Photos and captions need to be e-mailed to the following address: [email protected] before 1 Dec 2010.
Photos can either portray something that is environmentally positive or negative in the city and captions need to clearly state the effect on the environment. See the photo above for an example.
Add your photo as an attachment to an email, one photo per person and the photo must be 9MB maximum in size to allow your message get through our system
Provide the following details in the body of the e-mail: your name, your DOB, your home address, your ID/passport number/number of inhabitant, telephone number, photo caption.
