You are invited to a conference on Tran Duc Thao – French trained and Vietnamese philosophist with Jean-François Poirier and Jean-Pierre Han.
Speaker: Jean-François Poirier, translator, philosopher, writer, expert on German philosophy and modern France; and Jean-Pierre Han, literary and theater critics, the founder and director of Frictions theater magazine, Theatres-ecritures, editor for Lettres francaises magazine.
Tran Duc Thao – French philosopher and Vietnam – he wrote in two languages, a fighter against the communist, a Marxist thinkers who had profound influence on his students in Paris as well as in Hanoi. As advocates of Marxist, he revived the issue of language origin, a problem that has long been abandoned.

Trần Đức Thảo được coi là triết gia của cả Pháp và Việt Nam bởi ông viết các tác phẩm triết học của mình bằng cả hai thứ tiếng. Ông đã đóng góp vào sự phát triển của triết học Pháp trong một giai đoạn. Ông là người Việt Nam được đào tạo tại Pháp và không phải triết gia người Pháp, gốc Việt.
