From DOCLAB:
This week DOCLAB is delighted to present Eros, an anthology film about love and sexuality, consisting of three short films. The screening is in our classroom with limited space (15 seats), so – first come first served! The films are in Chinese, English and Spanish, with Vietnamese subtitles only. Thus some material may be inappropriate or offensive for viewer.
1. The Hand by Wong Kar-wai (43 minutes)
A story of unrequited love about a beautiful, 1960s high-end call girl in an impossible affair with her young tailor.
2. Equilibrium by Steven Soderbergh (25 minutes)
An advertising executive under enormous pressure at work, who, during visits to his psychiatrist, is pulled to delve into the possible reasons why his stress seems to manifest itself in a recurring erotic dream.
3. The Dangerous Thread of Things by Michelangelo Antonioni (35 minutes)
A menage-a-trois between a couple and a young woman on the coast of Tuscany.
