About the exhibition: An anatomy series of painting by Vo Duy Don. Classical compositions, with oil, with texture based on the body shape of models in the School of Fine Arts. Vo Duy Don draws the human form of fatigue and stress, apparently is no longer covered and layered by clothes, but still buried in human’s states: how the fear cover his eyes when shut, how his hands wring when tired, how to keep the balance in life. Each element in the painting is a metaphor about simple lives in the pity of chaos, the interesting of peace or the reality of boring acceptance.
Lacquer paintings exhibition “The Memories” by Pham Hoang Thuan Nhan.

About the exhibition: This is the first solo exhibition in 10 years since graduated and remained silent after school. It is about the memories imprint where she lived (7 years in Hanoi after graduation), about Duong Lam ancient village, about the old temple in Ha Dong village, about the filling of vague images from the familly house in Tan Lap Farm. Emotional paintings, beautiful deep color, classic lacquer spirit – the only material she is pursuing until now.
