International Short Film Festival Oberhausen: calls for submissions.

The 57th International Short Film Festival Oberhausen is inviting filmmakers from around the world to submit new works for the 2011 competitions. Regardless of genre or format, Oberhausen is seeking unusual film languages, works that change our ways of seeing things. The Festival will present five competitions: International, German, Children’s and Youth Films, Films from NRW and the MuVi Award for the best German music video, with its own set of regulations.
Requirements:
Films must have been completed during the 24 months before the festival. Maximum running time: 35 minutes.
Submission:
Submissions should be made via the international Internet platform www.reelport.com. If this is not possible, only DVD may be used as the preview format.
– International productions must be German festival premieres.
