Presentation of translator Tran Trong Duong mentions the most important cultural phenomenon during 1000 years from Ly Tran Dynasty to 1945. It is the translation from Buddha Scripture to Vietnamese which resulted in hundreds of translated works and writings of monks, mandarins and kings and partly created richness of national culture.
The presentation focuses on earliest works in Vietnam history which created in Tran Dynasty. Then the translator talks about some old pagodas as education, translation and publishing center of Vietnam in history. Finally, the presentation discusses contributions of Buddha Scripture translation as well as pagoda activities to Vietnam culture.
