Doclab’s workshop “From Idea to Project. Introduction To the Development of Short Documentary Film on Climate Change” is organized to help participators in the VietDocs Short Film Competition with how to write a proposal for a documentary film project.

Writing a proposal is singlehandedly the most crucial and useful step before starting off any kind of project. With this workshop, you will be helped with:
– Identify your ideas and interests
– How to do initial research
– How to write a proposal

And please send to [email protected]the following documents by 08/12/10 (optional):
– A brief proposal for a documentary film (around 500 words and with minimum font size of 11). Your brief proposal should address the following questions: What topic/theme are you interested in? Why are you interested in this topic? How will you approach this topic? What aspect(s) of the topic are you most attracted by? How will you tell the story? Style? Format? Estimated time-frame.
– Your CV
– Your previous work samples (if you have any)
