Fundraising for Ta Phin

A fundraiser to help the ethnic people in Ta Phin – a mountainous village of Sapa. Learn more about the lovely village Ta Phin and the project with the aim to address the underpriviledged livelihood of local people, mostly ethnic minority groups and raise awareness of local people as well as tourists!

Join us and you will have a sweet evening enjoying live music performed by Phuong Dang, Always, and Toothbrush (from Synergy). You can also buy raffle tickets to contribute to our Ta Phin Fund, and win our adorable prizes!
Entrance: 100 000 VND/person. All for fund-raising
Major activities include the construction of a community house with conservation garden, showroom, training programs, and propaganda programs. All activities are implemented with the official approval from the governmental office of Ta Phin, the encouragement of local people, and the collaboration with related agencies.
The total project budget is $10.000.

08:30pm – 08:40pm (Maddy introduces the project and talks encourages the crowd about how the charity gets funding through their entrance and raffle tickets)
08:40pm – 09:20pm INYIGO, TUNG & DUC (A collaboration between Inyigo, a Spanish Singer, and a former winner of Let’s Get Loud Vietnam Idol.) TBC
09:20pm – 09:30pm (Maddy reminds the crowd about the prizes that they can win and encourages the new comers to support the cause and buy some raffle tickets)

ALWAYS is a Hanoi inspired Acoustic Dance Rock Duo that fuses Indie, Electro, Rock and World Music.
INYIGO, TRAN TRUNG DUC, NGUYEN DUY TUNG (A collaboration between Inyigo, a Spanish Singer, and Let’s Get Loud Vietnam Idol’s finalist and winner, Duc and Tung.)
NGUYEN DUY TUNG is the sms winner of Let’s Get Loud this year and
TRAN TRUNG DUC a singer songwriter and one of the Let’s Get Loud finalist, who made it to the of the radio charts in Vietnam through his hit songs Doc Buoc and Lam On.
PHUONG DANG aka VinaZebra -This amazing young female song writer is best summarized in one word….talent. 22, Vietnamese, beautiful, bilingual, quirky, baroqueish at times theatrical, soul piercing and honest. An elegant pianist with powerful vocals. Recent performances have literally left the audience in awe of this must see talent.
TOOTHBRUSH If the ghost of Django Reinhardt formed an old time funk love band with 5 fingered 1920′s Jazz hands and 12 bar blues caravaning folk tails in vests, then Toothbrush would be their underpaid cleaners.
(For most of you who knew that Le Cat Trong Ly was suppose to perform on this event, we’re sorry to say that something happened, and she won’t be able to make it for the event.)
