From L’Espace:
You are invited to come to the conference and performance with presenter Pro. PhD Ngo Duc Thinh, Director of Center of research and preserve Vietnam religious culture, and MC PhD Nguyen Xuan Dien. After the conference, there will a performance of “len dong”.
More than any book or picture or sculpture, “len dong” is a living museum. Vietnamese exhibits Vietnamese culture for Vietnamese and foreigners. People taking part in this religious custom are curators, preservers of Vietnamese culture. Their work ensures the chance of future generations to know and contemplate different aspects of Vietnamese culture which are gradually fading in daily life and only appear in Mother Goddess Religion’s shrines.
