Attention Filmmakers!
BBC World News and RedBridge TV & Film Production: is calling for application of documentaries
Deadline: Tue 31 May 2011
From RedBridge TV & Film Production:
In August, 2011, BBC World News will broadcast the program called MY COUNTRY – VIETNAM. Working in close association with RedBridge TV & Film Production, BBC World News is calling on any filmmaker with a finished documentary of between 60 minutes and 30 minutes that reflects good stories of life in Vietnam, or observational documentaries. BBC will reverse them to 22 minutes, adding English subtitle for broadcasting.
Requirements:
• The films should have been made in the last three years – from 2009 – 2011. Exceptions will
be made for extraordinary films.
• All DVDs should be accompanied by a rough English script.
Three films will be chosen for broadcasting. The films will be marketed under the My Country series banner. The filmmakers will then have their re-versioned and subtitled film with BBC’s logo on it. An amount of support will be paid for each filmmaker.
