From Goethe Institut:
The two pianists Lucia Huang and Sebastian Euler together form the fascinating piano duo Duo d’Accord. They play virtuoso works for two pianos as passionatly as compositions for piano, four hands. In addition to their own arrangements the duo performs works works composed specifically for them and remarkable revivals of classic pieces.
Shortly after the founding of the Duo d’Accord 1999, the enormous potential of the two musicians became evident – they at once won the two most important piano competitions worldwide, including the first prize of the “Murray Dranoff” Competition in Miami.
The international career of the musicians then began, with performances in Europe, the USA and Asia, and the production of outstanding CDs. Collaborations with major orchestras and renowned musicians such as Heinrich Schiff and Christoph Poppen followed.
In addition to their concert career, Lucia Huang and Sebastian Euler teach at the Conservatory in Innsbruck, where each leads a class in piano. They live in Munich and have a daughter.
