From Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Vietnam:
A series of cultural activities, tourism and sport will be held in many localities in the province. The key activities of Ha Long 2011 tourism festival include: Ha Long Carnaval, opening of the light show, seminars vote for Ha Long Bay being one of the seven natural wonders of the world, Ha Long Night poems and music, festival food, beach volleyball final, tennis tournament and so much more.

Fri 29 Apr 2011:
7.30 am – German Festival Tran Quoc Nghien (Buddy Lan, Ha Long City)
9 am – Opening the photo exhibition of Ha Long Bay (Youth Resort, Ha Long)
9 am – Opening Football, tennis (Mong Cai Lake)
4 pm – Opening Ha Long Food Festival (Youth Resort, Ha Long)
8 pm – Poetry Night – Music of Ha Long Long (Youth Resort, Ha Long)

Sat 30 Apr 2011:
8 am – Dance Sport Award (Quang Ninh State Tournament, Ha Long)
8 am – Opening exhibition pet, test cocks (Hoang Gia International Park, Ha Long)
9 am – Beach volleyball tournament (International Resort Tuan Chau, Ha Long)
9 am – Quang Ninh Tennis Open (Golf Centre, Ha Long)
3 pm – Ha Long popular games (Youth Tourism, Bai Chay, Halong)
8 pm – Poetry Night – Music of Yen Tu (The cable car station, Yen Tu)
