You are invited to conference “Study the way to study” with the participation of Professor Jean Michel Djian and Doctor of  psychology and pedagogy Nguyen Thuy Anh.

Study tradition, which existed and was encouraged from XIX century in modern nations, is based on principle of accumulation.

However, one century after establishing a monopoly education institution, institution proved its preeminence in such a long time, its legitimacy confronts a profound crisis. The essential knowledge which must transmit nowadays is dispensed by digital media network that everyone can get access: Google, Wikipédia, thematic channels, cinema, book and video game. Arts and entertainment become foundation for new commercial education paradigm.

Not only are high schools and universities not monopoly in holding classic knowledge but also are teachers themselves perplexed by the leaking of epistemology and technology which no-one can control. Who classify Hierarchy knowledge and learning? Who evaluate their pertinence when all can distribute them? Do schools have to review their principles? Do they need to “teach the way to study” as philosopher Michel Serres proposed and thus allowing future generations to control themselves and have more appropriate criticism capacity in complicated world?
