From Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam:
The Japan Foundation Center for Cultural Exchange in Vietnam shares the pleasure of hosting a pantomime performance of Iimuro Naoki “Mime Solo Act: Time of Mime” in Hanoi and for the first time in Ho Chi Minh City in June 2011.
His silent movements penetrate language barrier and inspire us not only laughs but also the depth of stories. Last year’s his performance both in Hanoi and Hue (as a part of Hue Festival 2010) not only triggered big laughter from the audience but also moved their hearts.
The highlight of his performance in Hanoi is a part of the acts entitled “A World in Balance”, in which he received the Gold Medal at the 3rd World Delphic Games in 2009. The highlight of his performance in Ho Chi Minh City is, on the other hand, a part of the acts entitled “Angel”, in which his slow motion successfully invites you to the dream-like scene in the depth of the sea.
