From Hanoikids Club:
Hanoikids club is holding a free-for-public Pieces of culture No.8 (POC). POC project promises to make your summer vibrant and meaningful than ever by officially launching 8th POC with full profile about Vietnamese AODAI and Indian SAREE. Not only can you deeply explore these irreplaceable elements of the two age-old cultures but you can also have chances to receive amazing gifts from our show by getting involved in many exciting activities and games! One further reason for not disappearing in this POC show is the current aodai photography contest where you can showcase your photography talent and get awesome prizes! Sounds fabulous?

Whether you are a Vietnamese citizen, an expatriate in Vietnam or you just stop over our majestic country in an indirect flight, hardly can you miss the image of Vietnamese women in their splendid aodai.

Aodai is the traditional dress of Vietnamese women which is well-known all over the world for its flexibly beautiful style, suiting any ladies in virtually any occasions. Aodai is so favored and is regarded as the national costume of Vietnamese women, while in India-the exotic and distinct country in Southern Asia, another unique costume predominates.

Saree is the colorful piece worn by women in India. These colorful silk scarves are draped over the body in a variety of ways, and can be worn as a traditional outfit. Both aodai and saree are so impressive and graceful that you may marvel about their origins as well as if there are any samenesses or dissimilarities between these two beautiful traditional dresses.

Guest speakers:

– Ms. Nguyễn Hồng Thùy, Master of Science, major International Business and Corporate financial management
– Mr. Kaustubh Trivedi, manager of Khazaana Indian Restaurant
