You are invited to see the film “15 Ans et Demi” (15 and a Half) of director François Desagnat and Thomas Sorriaux. This highly predictable, yet moderately amusing tale of a widowed scientist (Daniel Auteuil) living 9 months of the year in the USA, who returns to his French home to parent his teenage daughter, steers a well worn path in generational differences, yet has some flashes of humour and wit.

Synopsis: “He has solved all problems with micro-biotic apart from one problem: his daughter!”. Philippe Le Tallec, an outstanding scientist who has lived in American for the last 15 years now decides he must return to France to take care of his daughter Eglantine. He hopes to take advantage of this opportunity to build a closer relationship with his teenage daughter and to make up for the lost time, however, his daughter has other things on her mind rather than spending time with her father…

This holiday is completely different from what he expects and Philippe is disappointed. So he enrolls himself in a workshop for troubled parents, led by Jean-Maxence, a famous psychiatrist in guiding methodology.
