From Future Shorts One:
Future Shorts ONE, the monthly film festival, continues its mission to bring audiences together and showcase the best films from around the world this August. A film festival unlike any other, Future Shorts ONE aims to bring short films to every corner of society, taking place everywhere in bars, warehouses, theatres, cinemas and elsewhere. With its launch in Hanoi in November 2010 comes an opportunity to host one of the leading and most innovative short film labels – every month! – whilst simultaneously promoting an array of local venues, art and music. August 2011 marks Future Shorts Hanoi’s comeback after a short summer vacation. Get ready, Hanoi!
The official FS ONE August programme features a diverse selection of films, including animations, music videos and dramas. In Radiostan we roam the terrain from Kyrgyzstan to Moscow, tuning in and out of people’s lives like the changing frequencies on a radio. Children discuss life’s eternal dilemma of having permanent teeth in Klaus Kjeldsen’s charming The Loose Tooth. A kaleidoscope of colours and heads make up the strange landscape of I Like U, the debut music video for French indie rockers The Chase. Other highlights from this month’s exciting programme include Stuck In a Groove, A Family Portrait, La Dame Au Chien, and winner of Best the British Short Film award at the 2010 Edinburgh International Film Festival, Baby.
Join Future Shorts ONE this August and be part of the next generation film festival!

Many thanks

Hi Brenda, I think you just need to buy a ticket at door on the day of the performance and go in to enjoy the films. No need to book in advance.
