Edited Films from Long Bien Picture Show

For The Long Bien Picture Show last December, four directors from DocLab each made a short documentary. Earlier this summer, we combined these four shorts into one 45 minute film with some minor edits and transition changes and gave it the title Hard Rails Across a Gentle River.
That film is currently screening in the DMZ Korean International Documentary Festival in South Korea.
In October, it will screen in Japan at the acclaimed Yamagata International Documentary Film Festival.
One more very recent bit of news related to The Long Bien Picture Show and DocLab is that the film “Nhip So 8 / Section Number 8” by Phạm Thu Hằng has been selected for the International Competition of the Rio de Janeiro International Short Film Festival– Curta Cinema 2011, that will be held from October 27th to November 6th
